Line of Sight

1/7/2007 - The three major locations within the house for looking outside (just as you enter the house, standing at the kitchen sink and sitting in the family room) have lines of sight that overlap at the pool area, in particular the upper right hand corner of the pool. This is where we hope to install a small waterfall with tropical plantings. To the right of the pool area is a "Focal Point" area where two of the lines of site overlap.

9/29/2007 - Sometimes things work out just the way you hoped. The pool is now complete and, as planned, the upper right hand corner of the design has a striking water feature. While the Focal Point area has receded in importance (it now is primarily acts as a screen for the house next door), the water feature more than compensates for the shift in emphasis.
